How cool is that. I have lived here a significant majority of my life and have seen any of the pods of these beautiful magestic creatures that frequent our area. Great capture Mike!
@trbo@mstipe It has been years since I went on a whale watching tour. The last time was on a Zodiac and I liked that far better. This was a cattle boat and we could not get in to the area as well. Plus the "Naturalist" on board sold cds of the images he got so the captain would position the boat so he got the best opportunity for shots. He was shooting a Canon 500mm with a doubler. I had lens envy.
