A while back I was looking at Find-A-Grave for some family history. I saw that you could sign up as a volunteer photographer. I figured why not. Today was the first time I fulfilled a request. The actual grave I was looking for was just north of this.

What an interesting idea. Our family was recently informed about the existance of a relative's grave and it was very moving when a group of us visited the site.

@weegordie @nanderson http://www.findagrave.com/ is the website. If you are looking for a name there are millions of them here. Many already have photographs. I was looking for a relative and saw you could sign up as a volunteer. Yesterday I got four e-mails from the site saying someone had requested a photograph. All four names were on one stone so I took pictures of the whole stone plus the individual names. http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GSvpid=48452738&GRid=14601978&

@justaspark I still remember some German I memorized in school, but high school, not grade school.
