I took some photos yesterday of the irises and roses -- yes, I know I said I wasn't going to spend more time taking pictures, but the irises are my favorites, they are in bloom, and I am envious of all the beautiful flower photos here. I tried to do some processing in PS Elements on one of the iris pictures, and didn't come anywhere near what I imagined. So I lay it aside and am putting up these roses. I do like the way the glow and drop shadow dress up these otherwise rather ordinary photos. Gives them an old fashioned look. My mother-in-law loved roses. I'll offer them in her memory.
