I'm generally not quick enough to get much of a shot of any of the squirrels who populate the campus. I've taken to getting my camera out and ready, zoomed in as far as it will go, in case I get a good opportunity. Today this little guy predictably enough headed up the tree. He stuck his front half into this hole. Unfortunately for him, the hole appears not to go in far enough to afford him the cover he was aiming for. He hung this way for a while, so I thought "what the heck" and snapped him this way.
He'll have to be my photo for today. The other shots I took are for the Mad Minute Word and I can't post that until tomorrow.
