This was taken out at SweetWood (my friends' land in Wisconsin). I see that the theme for this round of ETSOOI is vibrance/color and decided to experiment with it on ribbet.com (whoever told me about that, I thank them again). The original photo overall was actually more vibrant, but I felt that the butterfly was kind of lost against the similarly colored flowers. So I've tried to focus the color in that area and fade it as it falls away from there, to spotlight the butterfly. I would welcome your opinion of that -- does it make the flower look weird? And is it effective for what I intended, or is there a better way of drawing attention to the butterfly? And if so, should I have done more or less of the fade away from the full color?
