Last Thursday night (Halloween) when I went up to Hale Library on the campus to upload photos to 365 and do whatever else I needed to do online, I walked into the 24-hour study area where the computers were and was greeted by this. I told them I loved the sight of an angel sitting there earnestly studying; one of them said "And we're doing Bible Study!" I asked if I could take their picture and so I share my encounter with an angel with you.
Good evening, Mary
Thank you for being so understanding about my tardiness with your get pushed challenge this past week.
I challenge you do do a monochromatic shot - all white or all green or all red - you get the idea.
It could be brown leaves on dead grass, or white tea cups on a white tablecloth. I think you know.
And the tough part - make it SOOC - straight out of the camera - no post processing allowed!
Have fun!
Hello, get-pushed partner. I love this! a real double take moment!
Now then my biggest problem with this project is work. work gets in the way ALL the time, so what gets in the way of your 365 project - photograph it! Any how, high key, low key, soft focus, any way you like, just have fun!!
@farmreporter Hi Wendy. Monochromatic SOOC, huh? Hmmmm....I'll have to put on my thinking cap... I'll be sure to tag you on what I post for it. Thanks!
@nicolaeastwood Thanks, Nicola. Lots of things getting in the way of 365 -- the most obvious at this moment is our house project and all the inconveniences that have come with it, but I will think more about that and hopefully come up with a good shot or more.
By the way, Mary, I just now realized you're from Manhattan! Or, maybe I realized it once before and it escaped my memory! But, I just read your profile and also saw that you lived in Minneapolis, Minnesota too. I was born there! Just thought it was interesting we both have Kansas and Minnesota in common. :)
