My get pushed partner this week @jav0930 Jacki asked me to photograph food, ideally food that is typically made for holiday celebrations in my family. We are a typical family and have turkey at Thanksgiving. The turkey's legs were splayed out in a manner worthy of Hustler magazine. So indecent. I shot the whole turkey from the other end so as not to offend our sense of propriety. Then my sister-in-law (Jenice, who I photographed earlier this month: http://365project.org/mcsiegle/alternates/2013-11-02) got the bright idea to tie the legs modestly together with ribbon. So pretty. So ladylike.
