The Oz Museum in Wamego, KS. It is in the same block as the Columbian Theatre, where Frank and I saw Nunsense this evening. Neither of us had been to the Columbian before and a we wanted to see it because one of the cast is a friend who Frank knew from doing Cabaret together at the Manhattan Arts Center. She was great. It was very well cast and a fun show. But I digress...If you're an Oz fan and are anywhere near Wamego, it is worth the admission price to see. They have amassed a very impressive collection of all things Oz -- from the original books to the 1939 movie -- collectibles, movie props, books, magazines. http://www.ozmuseum.com/ And Wamego stages an annual OZtoberFest with events for the whole family. http://oztoberfest.com/
Great capture, Mary. I am ashamed to admit that I've never been to the Oz Museum in Wamego! I HAVE been to the Columbian Theatre, however. Saw "The Wizard of Oz" many years ago. So, is the Oz museum worth the admission price?
