For the get pushed challenge given me by Debs Stott @dibzgreasley who asked me to "take a full frame shot of something purple." Well, I'm posting purple for the whole week. I guess only one of them is "full frame" purple. But I tried to get as much purple as possible.
I tried all sorts of different settings, but this is as clear and focused as I could get of my mother's Africal violet. I think if I had carried it outside I could have... My Sony Cybershot takes much more sharp images outdoors. I had some pretty good closeups of a sunflower not yet opened back in June.
Mom tells me that it was a good thing I took this when I did (last Saturday), because the next day the blooms were withered and done. Dang, that IS good luck. Usually that plant is blooming any time I see it.
