More than a week ago Harry J Benson @hjbenson gave me the get pushed challenge of trying a panning shot. Just for the record, I TRIED, I really did. But I didn't get anything that looked any different than a regular picture of a car passing. The cars were in focus and no motion evident, but the background was also basically in focus and not blurred. I don't have control of shutter speed on my camera and that might influence it. Someday I may try again. (I had better luck with a previous get pushed challenge to "show motion." In that case I got cars in motion and background clear. In the meantime, I tried another "panning" thing. I've never tried to put together a panorama. So on the same evening I didn't have any luck with panning shots of cars outside the old Memorial Stadium, I took several shots of the inside (putting the camera on a retaining wall and carefully rotating it to take the next shot). I put them together as well as I could in PS Elements.
