Cindy @pittcj17 challenged me to do an animal action shot TWO get pushed weeks back. I was too busy then and had no action-oriented animals at ready hand. So I asked for an extension. I know this doesn't show very dramatic action, but you can clearly see she was trotting along. It's the best I could do. I was having so much fun hanging out with people I really didn't do a huge lot of photography.
This is Molly, a very sweet dog I met at SweetWood in Wisconsin at our gathering over the Fourth of July. Poor Molly was scared of the neighbor's artillery-grade-sounding "booms" they were periodically setting off, and she got out of the tent and disappeared for a night, causing her owners a completely sleepless night. At one point they canvassed almost the entire 40 acres and finally found her back at the tent in the morning. She didn't like the lesser fireworks our kids set off the next night either, so they'll leave her home next year. She can come to SweetWood other times of the year and have a good time -- city dog enjoying the country.
