For the tag challenge -- I got the tags "black & white' and "girl." I know, I know. Some would argue this is neither. But this is my little black and white girl -- or, rather, my son's little black and white girl. She's my little furry granddaughter. Her name is Nelo (pronounced neeloh). She's wearing one of those cones they put on cats or dogs after surgery. She had abdominal surgery Wednesday. Doing well, but is not supposed to jump up on things at present. We're cutting her a little slack. She's on my lap on the couch in this picture. But all the dining room chairs are tipped to keep her from jumping up on them, and my son lined the bathroom counter with the tall birdseed containers to block that. For the B&W purists, I have posted a monochrome version in my Alternates album. http://365project.org/mcsiegle/alternates/2014-06-29
Awww, poor little Nelo. She will heal quickly though and be as good as new. She looks like a wee darling. I like your response to the tags. Black and white doesn't need to be a black and white image. I love that you've thought outside the square.
My Get Pushed challenge for you this week is to take a photo of a pattern found in nature. Hope this is a good one for you. :)
@obmcreations You couldn't have given me anything better (read more fun) as I'm going to be up in Wisconsin in the woods and meadow belonging to my friends, and there will be plenty of nature to inspect. I probably won't post my image(s) in response to your challenge in the regular time frame. I'll be driving home Sunday so it may be at least Monday before I put them up. But rest assured I'll give you something then.
Hi Mary. I've been looking through your photos and don't think I see many/any abstract photos. So how about an abstract photo of something in the home. Hope that's okay.
