Paege by mcsiegle

Paege

Filling an empty spot in August. This is Paege, one of the sign interpreters who have volunteered their time for the last three years at Crypticon in Kansas City so a number of deaf horror movie fans (including Dan) can enjoy meeting and talking to the celebrity guests etc. I believe she coordinates the interpreting. She's a super nice woman.

The photo did not turn out well focused, but I liked her playful pose so much so tried the tilt shift effect on ribbet.com to give that selective focus on the horizontal strip containing her face and render the rest even more blurred (hoping that in addition to drawing attention to her face, it will also draw attention AWAY from the fact that none of it is very well focused. Ha ha!) Gave it a vignette and altered a couple of other exposure and color settings but I can't honestly remember what.

Oh what a lovely thing to do, and the photo works so well for a horror movie thingy too!
