Vera @vera365 challenged me to "try to take a photo that captures what Henri Cartier-Bresson meant by "The Decisive Moment". It does not have to be a street photo, but anything where timing matters." Dan and I went to the swimming pool where I tried to get a picture of him coming off one of the long curvy slides. This one is NOT Dan. It's an ETSOOI version of a shot of another kid that I posted on the 23rd.
Hi Mary, we've been paired for this upcoming week's push challenge. I thought to suggest to you the idea of framing;
Definition of framing in photography;
'The role of any rule of composition is to draw the eye into a photograph. Framing refers to using elements of a scene to create a frame within your frame. For example, you might shoot through a doorway, pulled back curtains, branches, fences, tunnels, or arches to highlight your subject' There are loads of great examples if you google 'photography framing' and then look at the images. Sound ok? Under my profile there's a list of the push challenges I've already been given. Look forward to hearing from you!
