My get pushed partner, Lisa Poland @homeschoolmom challenged me to take 15 pictures in 15 minutes or less and make them into a collage. A couple of days ago I posted a collage entitled "Definition of Boredom" composed of 15 pictures of RR cars going by - taken in a lot less than 15 minutes as I waited for the train to pass. Today I went to the library, as it is NEVER boring. Since the 365 Toys are getting together for the month of August and this week the toys are coming with us on outings of all kinds, I brought the two Neanderthal Men (Neanderthal Man and New NM). I also brought the Apatosaurus and the Trachodon since they have been so faithful in helping the men keep their balance -- the Apatosaurus stepping up when I asked him to look out for New Neanderthal Man. They appear in some of the photos above. The two men needed a stool to look over the photography section, but decided we shouldn't borrow any more books, as one of the ones I was on a waiting list for was waiting for me (see lower right). We photographed many of the cool types of materials available -- DVDs, music CDs, Books (of course!), magazines, and one of my favorites, the microfilm of local area newspapers going back to the first at the very end of the 1850s and beginning of the 1860s. I LOVE old newspapers!
