All the unused things come home

Anne @365anne gave me this challenge " take one (or more, your choice) image that epitomises your day or week?" I took this picture on Monday after work when I finally started unloading the car from my return Sunday from Minneapolis where SweetWood Temenos had a party suite at Paganicon. This was, as my friend Jack put it, a 'beta run' -- the first time we had done this. So we had way more food than we needed. What you see here are gluten free chocolate chip cookies and crackers that I brought and didn't need all of. The cooler also wasn't needed. Other people had brought sufficient coolers. I had just brought it in case we needed another. No one cared to play the two games I brought up to have on hand in case some people wanted to do that. And the black plastic bag in the background contains the empty paper towel and toilet paper tubes I've been saving to give to Kim to take back to SweetWood for the tick control project. Turns out this year she already has plenty of them at present. Ha ha ha...

So that kind of epitomizes Sunday -- bringing home unused things. But also bringing home great memories of the event.
Mary, I love this shot and the back-story too. A real 'flavour' of your day! I would happily help out with the left-over gluten-free goodies ;-)

@365anne I was just about to tag you, belatedly - realizing that I posted then rushed off to work without doing that. Glad you found it anyway.

The photo, which your explanation makes clear, is a good reflection of your day.
