The get pushed challenge given to me by Jim R @jnr was "to do a landscape picture, in particular if you can, to capture the emotion of the vast expanse of the Kansas prairies."
On Tuesday evening, after my Aqua Aerobics class ended, I headed out to the Konza Prairie. Konza Prairie Biological Station jointly owned and managed by the Nature Conservancy and Kansas State University. http://kpbs.konza.k-state.edu/
I tried to take an "easy panorama" with my Coolpix camera (one of the "scene" settings) but every time I tried it would start the process and then tell me it couldn't finish. So I gave up and used the iPod for the pano shots. Even a panorama can't fully capture the wonderful 360 view from up there.
It was a beautiful evening. I took a bunch of pictures. I'm posting two now and will post more later.
