Actually salt and pepper. Late night again -- on Thursday just as I was about to go to bed, I remembered I had not yet taken a picture for the One Week Only challenge. (Do you see a pattern here?) Thursday's assignment was long exposure. So back downstairs with camera and iPod. The iPod was for illumination. I searched around for something to experiment on -- my objective being to take a photo with the only illumination being the glow from the iPod screen (brightness turned down). My eyes fell on this chicken with salt and pepper eggs. I bought it on eBay a while back because it was exactly like one I had bought and given my mother when I was a kid. At that time I thought it was so great and was sure she would love it. To my mother's credit, she did put it on the table and use it for a while. Now, she has no recollection of having had it, but I remember it distinctly and, for some crazy reason I can't fully fathom, recently decided I wanted to have one.
