My get pushed partner Sally @salza challenged me to a white on white picture, but added "or if you'd prefer like colours eg red on red, green on green etc." I do intend to post a white on white -- took a few photos, one of which might do. But I haven't had (or haven't made) time to really concentrate on making an image that pleases me. And white on white is hard for me to figure out how to avoid shadows, and get the white balance right. So in the meantime (while Sally patiently waits, holding the rain check I'm giving her) I offer this shot I took of some artificial roses that were sitting on top of a small bookshelf against a wall of similar color. This is SOOC (iPod), however I do have to say that both the flowers and the wall are really lighter than this suggests.
I say, don't tell everything you know. The roses are beautiful (and don't look fake until you read the title) and I like the photo's monochromatic tones.
hi Mary, for get pushed this week how about children as your prompt, if you cant find actual children to photograph, perhaps find something to evoke memories of childhood, either yours or a loved one,
@kali66 Thanks Kali. I've been away and not had wifi. I'm on my way home and am on a hotel computer right now and have wifi for my iPod, so will try to get you a challenge. I'll be home tomorrow.
