My supervisor's temporary office is next to mine and her window looks out on the same dingy outside stairwell. I took this after the guy had washed the windows (see yesterday's photo). But the contrast between the plants and the concrete and metal stairs with peeling paint outside was striking. Charlotte said if it was her permanent office she'd paint some sort of cheerful mural out there.
