Because the second floor of Eisenhower Hall is not ready for us to occupy our offices, when we moved out of the ECS building, where we’ve been during June and July, we moved temporarily into other Rooms in Eisenhower. I went to the Language Lab. Imagine my surprise when I opened the door that day and found a vending machine staring me in the face. In fact all three vending machines had been put there while the work was going on. They were slated to go back in the hall as soon as the Custodial department finished waxing the floors. The computer screen way to the back on the right is my work station. The yellow sigh sticking out from the one machine is my heads up to go around the machine to the left to avoid the trip hazard (electrical cord—that one machine was plugged in to keep the perishable things (orange juice, chocolate etc) They moved the machines back into the hallway Thursday (8/8) —see photo posted to that date.
