Jim @jnr gave me the get pushed challenge to “take a photo that will capture the nostalgia of the prairies in the autumn“ — the nostalgia he has for that season from when he lived on the prairies.” I don’t know how nostalgic this photo is, but I went to the Konza Prairie and went just as far on the trail as the top of the hill and back (I’ve been trying to get over a cold, and was about to give him a rain check, but when I went outside I discovered it was a gorgeous fall day, and decided to go for it.)
I have been to the Prairies in the fall and this really captures the essence perfectly!
The contrast between the deep blue sky and the dying grasses states the season - just as Jim requested!
