We were at the home of my sister-in-law’s sister on Christmas Day. After dinner and gift exchange, my brother, Pat, and his brother-in-law and nephew taught Dan to shoot with their bow. Over the course of the time spent, his aim improved. After I took the picture of him with the target, he got even better. (See the inset with arrow in the inner blue ring!)
@randystreat Thanks. Dan did have a great time learning to shoot. I only did it long long ago at a week-long summer camp. So really almost no experience. Jenice (my SIL - Pat’s wife) said with all the archery Dan had done that afternoon he’d be sore the next day. But I asked him the next day and he said nope — not hurting at all.
@farmreporter Thanks. He was — and I was proud of him for his persistence. I may have to see where there’s an archery ranger, either here in Manhattan, or in Olathe where he lives.
