Hotel architecture

The hotel Crypticon was held in this year was architecturally inconvenient as hell. The only way to get from one portion of the second floor, where our room was, to the other portion where events were being held was to go down to the lobby level, walk across and then back up. Same thing for the lower ground level.

BUT the architecture was very visually interesting, and I took a number of photos of the portion our room was in.
At least the architecture made the walk more interesting.

We are get-pushed partners this week. I love your curio windows! My mother collected cut glass. She kept it on windowsills and in a china cabinet with a glass front. I can't keep breakables (house pets) but your windows spoke to my childhood. Seeing all that beautiful glass your challenge is to take a picture of glassware. So many interesting pieces to choose from...if you'd prefer a different challenge, though, just let me know and I'll set another.

@aecasey perfect challenge! I’ll try to find a different way to photograph glassware. I’m on my way home from MN, but will get a challenge for you soon. Finished lunch just south of Iowa/Missouri border and almost ready to go again. Frank will be driving.

Not very disability accessible (or what ever the most PC way to phrase that). What were they thinking.
