Saturday was my birthday. We had dinner at the Chinese buffet and then went home for chocolate cake. The candles form a crude "70" (the age I am now) I didn't see that until he told me. Hard to tell from this angle -- particularly since Frank had started to remove the candles and had to put some back at my request.

Yes, from a box, and a can of frosting. I was impressed that he made a round two layer cake. I almost never have the patience to do that. It was covered all over with that dark chocolate frosting —Messy but yummy.
