Friday I went to a spot on the Linear Trail that passes under the Fort Riley Blvd/Hwy 18 overpass over Wildcat Creek. I went in search of photos for the artist challenge. A number of years ago I was challenged to take a picture from under a bridge and went out there. It is less photogenic now, since the old overpass with separate east and west bridges of different construction was torn down and this built instead. In the distance you can see what I presume is the old RR overpass. The Trail does not go under it. I took a bunch of pictures here and earlier in the day when I went out there and went the wrong way on the Trail. Oh, heavens!
@grammyn No worries! The Linear Trail is a biking and walking trail that goes around the south end of town. This portion has a paved surface. Others are gravel. I think I stepped a couple of feet off the trail to take this picture.
