Taken from above as we headed up into the Conwy castle, this shows the narrow gate in the city wall that our bus driver navigated four times that day. Notice the blue sign indicating only one direction at a time through there (as if that weren't obvious!)
CORRECTION: having compared this to shots I took as we followed the other bus approaching the gate we drove through, I think now this is a different gate. There were buildings on the right hand side of the other. Still this is a good depiction of one of the narrow gates in the city walls. What good would it have been having a walled city if there are big wide gaps in the wall?! 🤣
@joysabin@grammyn Hold on! You may be right. I just compared this to pictures I took as we followed the other bus approaching the narrow gate we went through, and I think this is, after all, a different gate. There were buildings lining the right hand side.
