"Spawn" is an app on my iPod. Playing with Spawn and its sister app "Artisan" is one of my addictions. Truly a mania that seizes control of me at bedtime and causes me to stay awake way too long -- until the battery in the iPod is almost completely depleted. There are so many permutations/combinations of settings that the different styles of images are almost endless. And watching it move and change can be very mesmerizing -- REALLY psychedelic, man! This is a collage made of a very, very, very small fraction of my creations using Spawn and Artisan. It's not strictly photography, but they automatically go into the "camera roll" on the iPod and when I sync with the desktop Mac they get imported into iPhoto. Until I joined 365, they were the biggest percentage of things being imported into there. So I think it qualifies for the Mad Minute Word, "cacoethes," meaning irresistible urge or mania.
