A storefront downtown on Poyntz Avenue in the 400 block is being completely renovated. On a patch of wall in the front near the sidewalk a pastiche of several layers of old wallpaper is revealed. These shots are from a part running across the top of the section. Even with the stains from water or something else running down, you can see how beautiful this piece used to be. I tweaked the saturation and contrast to counteract the quality of light coming in and to bring it back closer to what I can see it once was. I wish I could have gotten up at the same level to take photos straight on. Tagging it for Eye of the Beholder. Some people, I suppose, wouldn't see beyond the stains, though I doubt I'd find any of those folks here on 365.
