Eye over MCS

See my main 365 album for an explanation of this shot for the tag challenge. Architecture and Eyes were my tags.

In this shot the eye is focused, but not the school. In the other (highly processed) image, the church was focused but not the eye. I'll have to work on that. Maybe I needed someone to hold the holographic pendant for me at a bit further distance. I was limited to the reach of my own arm.

I have never tried a forced perspective shot before (not counting my recent aborted attempt in Wisconsin.) So I threw that into the mix. This is the grade school I attended when I was a kid. It's called Manhattan Catholic School now. Back then it was Seven Dolors Grade School.
Whoa, Mary, that is freaky cool! Where did you get the eye? I want one! haha Seven Dolors? What does that mean? Sounds like $7. lol

I really like this photo and its unique perspective.

@espyetta @nanm Thanks, Nancy and MaryBeth!
MaryBeth, I think I got it long ago at a yard sale or rummage sale. You're not alone in puzzling over the apparent $7 church. Seven Dolors is the name of my Catholic parish. Dolors is pronounced with a long "O" and means "sorrows" -- the Seven Sorrows of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
