Several weeks ago Blair Howard @blahowd gave me the get pushed challenge to "capture the thing that scares you the most!” I thought it would be a quick slam dunk, since I was heading off to a horror movie convention. But the years of going to Crypticon with my son must have jaded me. I didn't take as many photos as I thought I would, and didn't see anything that qualified as "what scares me the most." So I came home with nothing suitable. I had (still have) an idea of a shot I want to set up to meet that challenge, but just haven't made the time. So I'm compromising -- neither of the two images I'm putting up here -- taken on my photo walk out on the land my dad grew up on -- are great photography, nor are they what scares me the most, but I'm enough of a day dreamer that I could see myself lost in the beautiful vistas and photo ops ahead of me and forgetting to look where I'm stepping. So these two are just cautionary tales. Posting and tagging way beyond the time for that round of get pushed so I can cross it off my To Do list.

@blahowd And another for the get pushed challenge you gave me so long ago. Now I have just one very very overdue get pushed challenge to tackle. If, by the way, I ever set up the shot I had in mind to do for this, I'll try to remember to tag you.
