My get pushed challenge from Kerstin @jothan was "to compose and shoot an odd grouping. The subject can be anything; but try to really challenge yourself." This doesn't exactly qualify as a "grouping," and it's not much as photography, but I wanted to post it anyway. Done in the spirit of those flip books where you can cobble together different characters, using the head from one, torso from another, legs from a third etc. Frank kindly agreed to pose for me wearing his Peter Max shirt and beads with the jacket from his tux, ratty straw hat that used to be his dad's, boxer shorts, and the fish slippers (who featured in a shot I posted who knows how long ago.) Oh, yes, must not forget the one support stocking that he wears for his knee. I wish, instead of the "flesh" toned one, he'd been using one of the black ones today!
First of all, I am very late to comment. Congratulations on being one of the 6 finalists this week! I took some pictures during the week (I chose the word "dust"), but I wasn't happy with them at all. I give it another try this week, I hope they turn out better.
This is my favourite of your three pictures, I used to love these books, I owned several when I was a kid. I like that you managed to meet the challenge of an odd grouping by photographing just one subject. Well done!
