Kali's @kali66 challenge to me: "how about looking at the colourfield painters and doing something similar, helen frankenthaler, rothko, barnett newman etc" I had a lot of fun this week and I'm swamping poor Kali with a lot of images. I did a number of things --spent some time experimenting with forcing either the iPod or the camera to go out of focus (either by holding my hand in front and focusing on my wedding ring and then taking it away, or by getting so close to the subject that the camera wouldn't focus. This is one of three I'm posting using the same subject.
