Kali suggested the idea of scanning old analog photos, in the absence of a film camera, for the Analog August theme. It so happens I have drawers full of old pictures we’ve taken in the past, and I just attended a talk on the urgency of getting photos scanned to preserve family history — particularly the color ones from our own time, which are in danger of fading into nothing. So I decided to use my Theme Month album this month to motivate me to get scanning. Some will be color, others black and white. This is my son, who is now 41 yrs old. He was probably about a month old here and in the hospital, having had surgery (You can’t see the back of his head in this shot. It was shaved on one side, with a bulge where they had done the surgery.)
