Here is little Dan clowning with my brother Pat, on one of our vacation trips back to Kansas from Minnesota, where we lived for 28 years. I wish we had been closer so Dan could have known his grandparents and my siblings better. He absolutely loved being with Pat who is the one of us four who never moved away from Manhattan — still does.
