I was trying to cull more of the 86,000 (!!) photos in the Photos app on our old Mac, and export just the good before the computer decides to die and I lose them all, when I came across this from May of 2018 and thought I'd crop it to a square for a horizontal half and half. (I have more vertical ones in my recent shots.)
This should briefly catch me up on the May H&H.
This is actually a remarkable photo there is so much to see in it. I love the difference in the brick and the chicken wire patterns and that peekaboo bird with the textures is fabulous
@grammyn@randystreat Thanks. Not a chicken coop, but I think you may be right, Kathy. Looks like a dove. It was under the portico at the entrance on the rear of Meadowlark Hills main building. That entrance leads to the care household my mother was living in at that time. I looked up and the bird was up under the roof. I don't know if the wire was an attempt to keep birds out or what. I cropped this to a square. There was more straw to the right -- from a regular nest, I think. I believe there are other shots that show more than one bird. I liked this the best. But I really need to get back to the photo winnowing project!
