Half & Half May 5 by mcsiegle

Half & Half May 5

At SweetWood — taken on Sunday. The pole was wrapped on Saturday with much enthusiasm and more than a little confusion and laughter as the dance progressed. It was cold and a bit rainy, but I enjoyed myself immensely as it is the first time I’ve been up here for Beltane.
How wonderful - glad you enjoyed your dance !!

@beryl @wakelys @summerfield @grammyn @randystreat Thank you. Yes, Vikki I did dance — though I would put quotes around the word “dance.” There were around 26 people in the circle—several people playing music, a couple of others who weren’t dancing, and an odd number of the rest of us making up the dancing cohort and (as rhythmically as possible) walking and then almost running as the ribbons got shorter — under and over were somewhat random, but the pole still looked fabulous when we finished, with all that good energy we poured into it.
