After leaving Las Cruces, we stopped at Carlsbad Caverns, NM. These are massive caverns underground. One of the trails alone is over a mile long, walking through one of the "rooms" of the caverns. I am sorry I don't have any shots with a person in the picture to give a sense of scale.
