At the end of summer, this lake is covered by thick, green algae which can look like an extension of grass. Some dogs have even run into it, thinking it was and getting a bit of a shock! I managed to find a small area where it is beginning to disappear and the light can get through again. Only shot on my phone - too much sudden, heavy rain around to risk taking my camera out today!
Great reflections. I think ensuring there was a bit of water to reflect the light was the making of this shot. Shandy did exactly that - ran into the water thinking it was grass!!!
