The idea was to photograph Bodiam Castle, using a little known footpath through private land and knowing I would be alone. Before I got there, this beautiful horse made an appearance and gave me just a little time to capture his interest in me. These poor creatures have to be fitted with horse fly masks which makes them look like they are taking part in fencing, but at least the flies don't bother them so much.
