Bird Scarer

This is not what I was planning for today! I have put up CDs to scare the birds away from the peaches (hasn't worked!) and did like the colours and raindrops, but it has rained heavily for most of the afternoon so this is the best I managed!

Interesting idea, putting CDs up to scare birds - not heard of that before. I really like the colours and the raindrops on top are very effective

I tried this under our pergola to keep the birds out & from pooping over the furniture....didn't work to well either. Nice colours & raindrops in your shot though :)

We used (NB past tense) CDs for the same purpose with mixed results. They're more effective if it's breezy, thus making them swing, revolve and catch the light. Such activity discourages the birds...although doesn't necessarily guarantee a better/increased crop. There's more fruit than we need/want...seems fair to left the birds have some too. After all, these birds give us much pleasure ;-)
