I like the squiggly little lines! I find fireworks soooo difficult to shoot! I'm still working on the correct settings for them. Not that we have a lot of fireworks around here to practice on....

They don't do fireworks in Canada? That's a bummer. Unfortunately, I don't remember what settings I used for this. I guess I'll have to work on it next 4th of July. Thanks!
@mej2011 well they do fireworks, but it's not like, every day, so I don't get a lot of opportunities to practice. Ours are on July 1st - which we were actually at the cabin for. But we have the "Festival of Lights" competition coming up at the end of July. Four countries compete for best fireworks display with musical accompaniment. They light them off a barge in English bay, it's pretty incredible.
I think Jani's been a bit crazy busy lately - don't worry, he still loves us:)

And you're taking photos at this Festival of Lights thingy, correct????????? It sounds amazing. @janmaki I was just giving you a hard time. I thought having the picture uncropped made the squigglings look more centered, but what do I know?
