For me personally, I love it. I find it a lot easier to navigate than Gimp, especially when I have issues with Gimp not responding. However, I've never done any extensive editing like you have, so I'm not sure if it would provide all the features you require. I say download it and give it a go, you can always uninstall if it is not up to your standards.
