That is one chilled out bun-bun! Great capture! And i think the leaves look fine? But you know you can boost just one aspect and paint "reverse effect" the rest, right?
@mej2011 just doing a trip through the Rockies and exploring a bit of Canada that Paul's never seen. In fact, he's not seen most of Canada, so this is going to be pretty exciting for him.

@mej2011 But I was kind of looking forward to not seeing your vast improvement when I'm not around to see them every day. Because your shots get better and better every day, but I think it will be really noticeable when I don't see them for a couple of weeks. Does that make sense? Once again, it's all about me. And I think Jani looks at your shots because he digs ya, not just to tell you what you've done wrong. Plus, it's working, isn't it? Every critique pushes you to get a little better, like it does me:)

I just want to tell my opinions, and I *really* appreciate how you comment on my pics what you don't like in them. Always makes me re-evaluate what I've done, and try to improve next time...
OK then pointing out the wrong stuff on this pic ;-) Well, actually I love how the little bunny is lying there, and you composed him perfectly. Head in the middle and the body is kind of shaped along the edges of the picture, looks cool to me. Boost did good to bunny, and I agree with you that the leaves could be less boostified. Sorry I haven't shared the painting tip with you ;-)

I'll stick around, I'm just stuck because I thought I'd be able to do one of the two September challenges, and one seems too hard, and the other seems too boring, so I guess I'm just grumpy. On to the critiques- I thought about cutting off some of the greenage, but as mr. bunny sort of looks like he is looking out, I figured you would want to see what he might be looking at, or that there wouldn't be enough negative space, so I left it. I will have to keep the selective boost in mind, because I do feel that a lot of my pictures would look good if only portions were boosted. Really, you should write an editing book.
@mej2011 I think you made a right decision on leaving the greenage. Like you said, negative space for the bunny to look at :-) Editing book, wouldn't know where to start :-)
