They can take the music that we never played

30 Day Song Challenge for September
Day 8 - A song that you know all the words to

I like the idea I had for this song, but not the way it turned out. The song title is a lyric from "Yesterday" by Leona Lewis, which can be heard here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zJ_j6YVCKYM&feature=related
The idea was to take guitar chords from songs that I never learned to play and photograph them. Obviously my focus wasn't good enough. Oh well. Editing consisted of Photoscape's antique filter in the grayscale mode.
The two top pieces of paper show the chords for the songs Let Him Fly by Patty Griffin (which is AMAZING), and Leaving on a Jet Plane which was made famous by John Denver. The bottom piece of paper is a portion of the list of songs I had wanted to learn to play when I got my guitar. I never learned any of them.
cool concept ! You should pick up that guitar and start practicing ... you don't need to learn too many chords to be able to play most of the songs on your list.

Thanks. maybe I"ll try this shot again one day to get a better focus since I really like the concept as well.
I should practice the guitar, I know. I just have no patience. Do you know the song Hey There Delilah by the Plain White T's? That song only has, I think, 2 chords, and I couldn't even master that. lol.

@mej2011 haha, the reason why I make my own music : They are easy enough for me to play them :)

@janmaki
You had to learn the basics first though, correct?

@mej2011 I learned by trying to play my favorite songs, and my favorite songs are quite hard to play. I still can't play all of them, but got enough skills to make my own songs... never had any lessons etc.
