I think I am officially quitting the September song challenge. Today's idea was to do a photo inspired by the song "Orange Colored Sky" which was originally done by Nat King Cole, I believe. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't good, so I didn't take a sky photo today. I tried editing a camp photo to fit this song, and didn't like it. When all else fails, take a picture of an animal. I usually have my camera on close up mode, but for some reason everything was turning out really bright and blurry. I put the camera on portrait mode and got this. I'm really pleased with this photo. I remember posting one other photo in that mode, but don't remember what it was. Maybe I should use portrait mode all the time. The only editing I've done is picnik's autofix and a slight crop.
Tomorrow's song theme is a song that you want to play at your wedding. That ain't happening, so who knows what I will come up with.

I agree that the unplanned shots sometimes work out the best. I am now kicking myself that I did not use this mode while on vacation in July, those photos would have looked really nice, I think.
