I liked the IDEA of this shot, but not the actual execution. The last few weeks I've seen a lot of crows and have wanted to photograph a group of them. I thought seeing them all in the tree would be a perfect opportunity. I don't know, to me it just looks like a big jumble of stuff. What do you think?

I actually quite like it - yeah it's hectic, but it's a lovely wintry scene made more dramatic with all the crows. You've caught some lovely light here too!
I like it - you captured the birds well. I think the colours are cool but maybe you would find it less "jumbled" in black and white? It might turn into a nice silhouette. If you tried already - please ignore this :-).
I think the chaos is pretty cool. If you revisit the shot, you could try composing more sky into the picture to create a calm area to contrast the chaos. All the better if you could capture one bird in the sky, like breaking free from the chaos... :-)

Have you ever captured a photo of one crow in the sky? It's HARD! These buggers are fast! I've actually been trying to capture a flying crow, or the hawk and I'm just not quick enough.
