Three Leaf Clover by mej2011

Three Leaf Clover

Yesterday, I attempted to get a closer view of Mr. Hawk. Didn't work. All was not lost though because I was able to take a lot of rain drop shots while outside. I guess that's a perk of having rain for three days. Editing consisted of Picnik's autofix, clarify, and 1960's effect.
This is lovely and I love the '1960's' effect too :)

Still full on fall there, isn't it? Beautiful low pov close-up capture! It look sc (which I know it's not) with that pop of green! Good eye for spotting this:)

Yeah I'm hoping winter stays away for a while yet. Personally, I'm all for 60 degree weather until Christmas, and then it can snow, and be back to 60's the next day. Not likely to happen though. I tried sc on this, but I didn't have the patience to get that stupid stem. lol. Thanks!

No need for S.C., the clover pops really nicely already!

Thanks! I really like the clover's color, I was trying to minimize the ugly brown color of the surrounding leaves, which is why I attempted the s.c.

Yes, but you need a four leaf. Forgive me for conjouring up this forestal image, but it's like a leaf orgy with the clover being the centre of attention! I bet this would look pretty good in b&w too.

If I could have found a 4 leaf clover, I would have photographed it instead. I actually tried this in black and white, and liked it, However, I have a few followers who complain when I take away color from shots with vibrant color.
