This week I decided to join the "Get Pushed" challenge ( http://365project.org/discuss/themes-competitions/13589/get-pushed-week-one )
The challenge, given to me by @dhostick was " you have a great eye for composition, but most of your subjects are nature/animal based, with soft curves, etc. I'd like to see what you and your eye can compose with hard lines, angles, and/or edges - preferably no curves at all."
It took me a few days to wrap my head around this challenge, and I'm still not sure if I understood it well enough to execute. Oh well, I tried.
I wasn't sure what I had in mind, either, but I do like this! and I also like that it is reminiscent of how you make a curve with a series of straight lines, because it has a curvey sort of feel even though it has nothing but straight lines in it! very good job, indeed!
Hey Melissa, it's Geertje here for the Get pushed challenge. I had a looksy through your photo's. I see a lot of nature and a lot of close-ups and macro's. So here's your challenge: give me a city-scape! (or a town-scape ;) I'm looking for something almost completely man-made. I hope you will enjoy this, have fun!
