Today I intended on photographing the remaining ideas I had for my "Get Pushed" challenge. Unfortunately, the sun was not on my side today. I then spent about 45 minutes photographing different object groupings before being settling on this set. Then I spent at least another half an hour processing this shot. Originally I pictured a black and white image, but didn't like the end result of that. Then I decided I should stick to as little processing as possible to keep the actual colors, but I found that too boring. Finally I decided to use the "old photo 17" and "instant 2" effects from www.befunky.com I'm not happy with it, but what can you do?
What I AM happy about is that Paula and Jani have returned!!!!!!!!! Oh Happy Day!
I like the invisible scratches too :) Love the wide crop & the idea of the composition but I haven't lost my OCD : move a bit to the right so the tables are all symmetrical. Remember how annoying I was ? ;-D
@mej2011 haha well if you look at the shape of the leftmost table, it's like a rectangle, so it's shot pretty much straight on. However the table on the right is shot from an angle. So you'd need to move just a bit to the right and find the sweet spot when those two tables are like mirror images of each other :) That is, if you want to get sucked into OCDness :)
@jsorensenart
Thanks Justin!
There is a film grain/scratch look to it?
Interesting, I don't see it. Glad you like it though. lol
You're not annoying, just confusing. lol. I tell ya, things just don't look out of balance to me.
I think I understand, will re-shoot at a later date. Thanks!
